New Policy Specialist!

Mass Rivers is delighted to announce that Katharine Lange has joined our team this month as our Policy Specialist. Katharine earned her Master’s of Public Administration and Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Environmental Planning and Management from the University of Connecticut. She previously worked for the Connecticut Land Conservation Council, advocating for conservation policy on behalf of the state’s 137+ land trusts. Katharine also attended UConn to earn her Bachelor’s in Political Science and Human Rights, and has lived in Hartford CT, Providence RI, and Cuenca, Ecuador. In her free time, she enjoys live music, hiking around New England, and tending to her houseplants.

Katharine will be taking over the responsibilities of our current Policy Director Gabby Queenan, who is leaving at the end of August to pursue a Masters degree at Tufts University. We are excited for Gabby as she embarks on this new phase in her career, and we are delighted to welcome Katharine into our community.
