Katharine Lange
Senior Policy Specialist
Katharine works directly with legislators to craft and advance state legislation to improve the environment and local climate resilience, and to increase funding to the state agencies who steward our lands and waters. She helps craft comments on state and federal regulations, and she shares important policy updates with our member organizations and the public. She also writes Mass Rivers biweekly eNews, River News & Notes, and as manages our social media platforms.
Katharine attended the University of Connecticut for her BA in Political Science and Human Rights and for her Master’s in Public Administration. She previously did state level policy work for the Connecticut Land Conservation Council and Save the Sound.
Katharine is from beautiful eastern Connecticut and loves being outside, including biking to work, bikepacking, and dipping in any clean river, especially in the winter.
