Join us for an insightful visit to the Bel Air dam removal site in Pittsfield, MA, on September 19th, 2025, from 9:30am to 11:30am. Space is limited, so if the spots fill you will be added to a waitlist and notified if additional spots open up.

About the event
This event offers a unique opportunity to take what we have learned during the Dam Busters webinars and see it live and in-person! Hear from project leaders from SumCo Eco-Contracting and AECOM who will take us through the site and describe the dam removal process and river restoration efforts.
The site is walkable site over gravel, pavement, and sidewalks. Portions are wheelchair accessible, but please let us know if you need these accommodations.
Please bring a water bottle, wear comfortable shoes and wear weather appropriate and high visibility clothing for safety. We have a handful of vests on site, but if you have your own, please bring it. We will only cancel this tour if there are heavy downpours, thunderstorms or similar weather predicted and we will notify you if we need to cancel the evening before.
