Andrea Eigerman

Grant Programs Manager

Andrea Gaut Eigerman grew up in the majestic landscapes of California, backpacking in the Sierra Nevada and exploring the coastline, where she learned to love nature and the need to protect it. For the last ten years, she has worked in Essex County, Massachusetts, and the New Hampshire Seacoast as a grant writer and manager for habitat restoration and living shoreline construction projects at the federal, state, local, and private-foundation levels. Her previous work involved administering the Coastal Zone Management Act and state laws for the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission, a regional government agency. She holds a Master of Environmental Studies from the Yale School of the Environment and a B.A. from the University of California at Irvine in Social Ecology.

As Grant Programs Manager, Andrea assists in managing all grant-funded projects and designing, executing, and managing Mass Rivers’ statewide technical assistance program to remove small, defunct dams.
