Olivia Bonevich
Communications and Program Coordinator
Olivia is a native of Bethesda, Maryland and found her love for the environment in childhood through her love for animals, flowers, gemstones, and all things natural. She recently graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a BS in Environmental Science and minor in Environmental Systems & Society. There, she was involved in several student organizations working to promote environmental justice, the inclusion of communities of color in environmental conversations, and ecological restoration and conservation across Southern California. Through her summer internships at the California Department of Water Resources and the Woodwell Climate Research Center on Cape Cod, she gained experience analyzing water quality in environmental chemistry laboratories, and a greater understanding of the interactions between land use, human activities, policy, and water pollution. She is excited to work with organizations across Massachusetts, and to get involved in advocacy for the policies through which equitable and sustainable climate resilience, ecological health, and water quality are ensured.
