Sarah Golden

Development Manager

Sarah is a lifelong conservationist and is excited to advance Mass Rivers' mission of improving river health. Previously, her work was centered around grassroots advocacy in climate change and conservation solutions. She utilized these skills to found an advocacy group called Impact for Oceans that provides a forum for people to speak out for marine protected areas. She earned her BA in Environmental Studies from Stony Brook University and her MS in Sustainability Management from Columbia University.

Founded in 2007, Mass Rivers works to strengthen statewide river policies in four areas: water quality, streamflow, wildlife habitat, and investment in green infrastructure.
