The Shape of Rivers

Please join us on March 9, at 6:30 pm at the deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln for a a special event. “The Shape of Rivers” will be a dynamic conversation between the artist, Fritz Horstman and MIT geophysicist, Daniel Rothman on how water flows through natural landscapes.  Horstman’s sculptures explore human construction and ecological systems (especially rivers!) while Rothman has studied the physical foundation of natural geometric forms.  The evening will include a lively discussion about rivers as sources of beauty and inspiration, followed by a reception.  Attendance is FREE, but registration is required:  https://mar9shapeofrivers.eventbrite.com.

Flier with details can be found here. Please invite your friends to celebrate a creative collaboration between the natural environment and the arts.  Massachusetts Rivers Alliance is delighted to be a cosponsor of this event.
